Harvard University

Harvard University, a private Ivy League university, is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1636 as Harvard College, the university is comprised of ten academic faculties.

Harvard has three main campuses – one is a 209-acre campus on Harvard Yard; another in the Allston neighborhood of Boston; and a medical campus in Longwood Medical Area, Boston.

Harvard University Campus Life

The university also manages 60 off-campus residences and provides information on such accommodations to students on the portal named Harvard Off-Campus Housing to help them decide which housing options suit them the best. These housing options include apartments that are offered as one, two, or three-bedroom, studios, and suites.

The university offers to foreign students a variety of financial assistance such as grants, work-study programs, exemptions, and scholarships. 

At least 100% of the financial expenses of 20% of students are met at the university. Meanwhile, more than half of the students at Harvard are recipients of need-based scholarships. 

Foreign students are eligible for grants of all types, barring federal or state aid. Students have to produce financial documents to apply for aid during their admission process.
