The University of Warwick is a public research university near Coventry in England. Founded in 1965, the Warwick Business School was set up in 1967, followed by the Warwick Law School in 1968.

The campus is spread over 290 hectares on the borders of Coventry. It has a satellite campus in Wellesbourne and a base in London at the Shard. It has three faculties— Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Medicine and 32 departments.

Eligibility criteria:
  • To gain admission into the program, students must have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Students need to have a strong quantitative aptitude, including in multivariate calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
  • They should have got a GPA of at least 3.8 out of 4.0 in their qualifying exam.
Work experience eligibility:

Students should have held an excellent academic record and managerial and work experience of at least three to four years.

Eligibility criteria for Indian students:

Indian students can apply if their eligibility criterion is one of the following:

  • Students need to have got a first class in the four-year undergraduate degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or
  • First-class in a master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Students must obtain a minimum score in GMAT or GRE exams to improve their chances of being admitted.

Students who hail from countries where their native language is not English need to prove their proficiency in the English language by getting a good score in IELTS or TOEFL or any other equivalent test to be eligible for this program.

Required documents

The following documents need to be submitted by the students before admission:

  • Résumé: A summary of academic accomplishments and awards, publications, related work experience, or voluntary experience.
  • Official mark sheets and degree certificates: The marks sheet that is provided to the students by the education boards after they complete their graduation or any other equivalent program.
  • Details of Post-Secondary Educational Institutions: Students should include the education they received at technical and professional schools irrespective of the duration and also even if the study was not related to a management discipline.
  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR): A letter of recommendation should include details about the student, their relations with the individual they are recommending, and detailing why they are eligible and what particular skills they possess.
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) – An essay statement written by the student explaining why she/he is applying to this program.
  • Scores in the English language proficiency tests: Students need to submit their language proficiency scores in English, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or any other equivalent test.
