University of Bristol

The University of Bristol is a public university located in Bristol, England. Beginning as a university in 1909, Bristol has six academic faculties. The Faculty of Engineering is divided into two schools. 

The School of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Engineering Mathematics house Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Engineering Mathematics while the School of Civil, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering is home to Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, and Engineering with Management departments.

The Campuses of the University of Bristol

The University of Bristol is home to two campuses – Clifton and Langford. At the Clifton campus, the Richmond building is home to theatres, cafés, bistros, and other places of leisure for the benefit of the students.

Accommodation University of Bristol

  • The university offers on-campus accommodation to UG students in some of its 36 residential halls. 
  • Room types that are offered to students include en suite, standard, and studio. Students staying in these rooms can avail of facilities such as a library, study rooms, laundry, sports facilities, etc. 
  • All undergraduate students are assured of accommodation on campus. Rents of the rooms vary from £90 to £238 and the costs are based on the facilities offered.
  • All the housing facilities at the university are granted for 10.5 months in a year.

Foreign students need to apply online through the UCAS portal for admission into undergraduate courses. The application fees, on the other hand, vary from £20 to £25.
