Imperial College of London

Imperial College London, known officially as Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine, is a public university located in London, United Kingdom. Established in 1907, it concentrates on business, medicine, science, and technology. 

The university’s main campus is in South Kensington. Its other campuses are in White City and Silwood Park, with teaching hospitals spread all over London. It became an independent university in 2007.

ICL offers undergraduate programs in 18 disciplines. ICL has three terms: summer, autumn, and spring. The university offers Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP) each year to about 400 students with practical research opportunities. ICL, under its International Research Opportunities Programme, sends its undergraduates to partner universities to take partake in research for at least eight weeks such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US and Korea’s Seoul National University.
