RWTH Aachen University Masters 

RWTH Aachen University, or the University of Aachen, or Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen in German, is a public university, which is located in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. 

Located in Aachen, the university’s campus is spread over 620 acres. RWTH Aachen University houses nine faculties. RWTH is Germany’s largest public research institution. Currently, the university houses more than 47,200 students. Over 13,300 of them are foreign students.

Foreign students can opt for one of the more than 170 courses that the university offers in 16 academic fields. Some of the popular programs that the university offers are biology, economics, law management, and natural sciences.

The university’s acceptance rate is around 5% to 10%. To gain admission to the university, international students need to meet the eligibility criteria, get decent English language proficiency scores in IELTS or TOEFL, and submit letters of recommendation (LORs).

Students need not pay any tuition fees at RWTH. Scholarships are not offered to international students at the University of Aachen. Students, who want funds to study at the university, must check out other external financial aid packages including DAAD Scholarships or Heinrich Boll Scholarships.

 The campus of RWTH is divided into six clusters that house more than 30 centers.

RWTH does not guarantee any housing options for students. It, however, has three RWTH Aachen guesthouses, with limited capacities. These options are given on a first-come-first-serve basis.
