Eligibility Criteria

Educational Eligibility:
  • Students need to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 5.0 on a 7.0 scale, which equals 60 to 64%.
  • If the students’ native language is not English, they must prove their English proficiency by taking an IELTS or TOEFL or any other equivalent test.

Work Experience: Students, who do not hold a bachelor’s degree, can apply if they have at least three years of work experience in a relevant field as a manager or any other professional.

The documents required for applying are the following:

  • Educational Transcripts: Students must furnish certified copies of educational transcripts.
  • CV/Résumé: A brief summary of academic attainments or grants, publications, related work, or volunteer experience
  • Statement of purpose (SOP): Describe the intention for pursuing this program and describe previous experiences.
  • Letter of Reference (LOR): Two letters of reference must be submitted.
  • Scores in ELP: Students have to show proof of their English language proficiency, with scores of IELTS or TOEFL or other recognized English tests.

Student Visa for Australia to Study in Macquarie University

A foreign student needs to secure an Australian student visa to study and be employed in the country for more than six months. There are different types of visas, such as:

  • Student Visa: The student visa, which is a temporary visa, allows students to visit Australia for a defined period of time to study at an educational institution in Australia.
  • Visitor Visa: After finishing the course, students may require to apply for a Visitor (Tourist) Visa to be present at the graduation ceremony or to have a holiday.
