University of Wollongong (UOW) Programs

The University of Wollongong, UOW for short, is a public university located in Wollongong, New South Wales, about 80 km away from Sydney in Australia.

It has nine campuses, with the main campus being in Wollongong. One of the campuses is located overseas in Dubai and the others are in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and China. It has four faculties and multiple libraries spread over different campuses.

It was founded in 1951 as a division of the New South Wales University of Technology. In 1975, it became an independent institution.

As of 2020, more than 34,500 students were enrolled on all of its campuses. At least 60% of them were undergraduates. The remainder was made up of postgraduate and doctoral students. More than 30% of the students were foreign nationals

The University of Wollongong has three intakes to admit students – fall, summer, and autumn. It accepts applications until six weeks before the start of a term. The university has a free online application portal.

UoW charges tuition fees ranging from AUD60,000 to AUD150,000 based on the program.
