The Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students is offered to all eligible students from selected countries studying in any Italian Higher Education Institutes.

What is Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) allows students from other countries to live and study in Italy by providing scholarships for both International students and citizens of Italy. The Scholarship is mainly for the students who are pursuing their master's or Ph.D. in any subject at any Italian Higher Education Institute. Additionally, from this scholarship program, the Italian Government aims to promote the Italian culture and language all around the world.

Eligibility for Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria for The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) Scholarships are as follows:

  • The student applying for a master’s degree course and the scholarship must hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • The age of the student must be 28 years or less at the time of submitting the application for a master’s degree course and scholarship.
  • If the student is applying for any PhD course, the age must not be more than 30 years at the time of submission of the application.
  • The student must have to prove the English language proficiency from IELTS or any other language proficiency proof.

To apply for the Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students follow the steps:

Step 3: Attach the required documents for the scholarship.
