The University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship

Amount of Scholarship offered: $15,000 per year, $60,000 for a four-year course

Start date: 1st December

Last date for Application: 1st March

Courses covered: Bachelor’s degree in any subject

Number of Scholarships Offered: The University selects two international candidates from the undergraduate program for scholarship.

What is the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship?

The University of Calgary Scholarship is a 100 percent scholarship for international students coming for undergraduate programs. The University offers an amount of $15,000/ year to the students entering in the first year of any undergraduate program for any subject. The amount can be later renewed annually.

Who can apply for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship?

The University of Calgary Scholarship is offered to full-time registered international students who are coming for an undergraduate program at the University of Calgary in Canada. The Students who achieved a score of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms can apply for the scholarship.

 

Eligibility for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship

To be an eligible candidate for the Scholarship student must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidate must be a full-time registered international student in an undergraduate program.
  • The candidate must be a new student
  • Candidate must have a minimum score of 3.20 GPA in studies.
  • Candidate must have passed the English proficiency requirements.
  • TOEFL-iBT: 86
  • IELTS: 6.5
  • For renewability minimum GPA of 2.60 or above OR a minimum of 24.00 units of coursework is required.

How to apply for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship?

To apply for the University of Calgary Scholarship, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official website and log on to the myUofC portal.

Step 2: Go to the “My Financials” webpage and select “Apply for Undergraduate Awards.”

Step 3: Select the International Entrance Scholarship tab.

Step 4: Provide the required documents online.

Step 5:  Fill in the details and required information and submit the application.

*Note:  You can apply for the scholarship as soon as you apply for admission.
