Top Australian Universities for Graduate employability

9 Australian Universities appear in the Graduate employability Ranking 2018 for Global Universities. It Times Higher Education has exclusively published the list. This has been designed by Emerging HR Consulting.  The ranking reveals the Universities that recruiters of top firms consider to be best for preparing workplace ready students.

The Melbourne University has emerged as the top Australian University for graduate employability. It is followed by the Sydney University and Australia National University.

1. University of Melbourne

The University has a bi-annual mentoring program. This brings together the students with alumni mentors who guide them through the process of making a decision for a career.

Faculty-specific resources help students in identifying the most appropriate career advice. Students can also take up tests for self assessments. This is to decide the most suitable occupation for them, as quoted by the Times Higher Education.

2. University of Sydney

The Sydney University offers dedicated career fairs for specific subject areas. These include Investment banking, IT, Engineering and Law. Malcolm Turnbull the current Prime Minister of Australia is an alumnus of this University. 5 former Prime Ministers of the nation are also its alumnus.

3. Australian National University

Australian National University in Canberra offers counseling sessions with a career consultant thrice weekly.  It also runs the ANU Career Hub. It is an online tool for employability and career development. This includes career resources and a job board.
