The top 10 US areas for launching your IT Career in 2019 have been announced by the Wealth Front. This is for the seventh year. The ranking reveals the areas in the US that are thriving IT hubs. Youth can choose these areas for launching their IT overseas career in the US.

2018 was a booming year for young tech firms in the US in spite of the chaos in the financial markets. The total number of acquisitions and IPOs were at an all-time high and by a broad margin. However, the even better news is the number of firms that were added in the list. This was also at an all-time high. It implies that the numbers of convincing job prospects are not shrinking by any means.

Tech is still a great place to launch your career in the US.

The list for 2019 includes 156 IT firms. It is an addition of 11 over the 146 firms in 2018. The list has added 48 new firms. This is the second highest figure for the last 7 years ranking list.

Much smaller % of the fresh additions in 2019 was consumer firms – 27% against 43% in 2018. An increased proportion of the new firms are located in Bay Area – 61% over 54% last year. Increased number of firms in the Bay Area is situated in Silicon Valley to the south of San Francisco – 50% over 32%. This is in conformity with the historical proportion of compelling firms on Silicon Valley.

Once again New York had 8 fresh additions. However, it represents a smaller % in compassion with last year – 15% over 23%.
