US L-1 Visa employers are facing more number of surprise site visit programs by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services as per the latest report. Site visit program involves spontaneous visits by USCIS agents at immigrant work sites. It is done for specific categories of US Work visas to assess compliance with visa rules in the US.

The last time the USCIS announced its plans for expanding the site visits was in 2014. This included assessing workers who possess Religious worker R-1 Visa and US L-1 Visa for executives and managers. While announcing the site visit program in 2014, the USCIS said clearly that it was for exclusively for US L-1 visa employers.

On the other hand, Bloomberg Law revealed in its report that USCIS is conducting surprise site visits now. It is for US employers utilizing the L-1B visa for expert knowledge workers too, as quoted by the Workpermit.
