The UK workers increasingly prefer Irish work permit according to the latest data of the global job site Indeed. The data collated by Indeed reveals that several hundreds of thousands of workers in the UK are seeking overseas job opportunities including Ireland. The hike in the number of overseas job searches by UK workers is being attributed to the anxiety over Brexit.
As per the analysis of Indeed, the numbers of UK workers looking out for Irish work permit rose 11% higher in April 2017 while compared with same period in 2016. The data also suggests that the workers in the UK are seeking a diverse range of Irish work permit than ever before.
The data collated by Indeed reveals that the UK workers are getting attracted to diverse job roles in Ireland, as quoted by the Workpermit. This includes Social media specialists, Sales consultants, Development Managers, and Nurses.
Amongst the overseas job seekers to Ireland jobs such as Customer service manager, Accountant, Welder and Data Scientist are increasingly becoming popular. Mariano Mamertino the Senior Economist at Indeed said that the labor traffic to the UK from Europe has declined. On the other hand, Indeed is witnessing that nations such as Ireland, Germany and France could benefit from the additional preference levels of EU job seekers.
Mariano added that increase in the number of job seekers preference for Irish work permit and active job seekers post-Brexit is not just a short-term response. He elaborated that there is a steady and regular increase in the numbers of UK workers seeking the Irish work permit.
It now appears that just one year after the Brexit referendum was held, Ireland is at an advantage owing to the steady hike in the inflow of labor.
