UK Tier 2 visas are often availed by overseas workers to immigrate to the UK. This visa permits them to be employed with UK firm possessing the sponsorship license for the UK Tier 2 visas.
The UK Tier 2 visas process is complex and this is the reason why thousands of immigrant applicants seek professional assistance for processing these visas.
More than 100 firms participated in the survey representing 35, 000 workers. The survey intended to analyze the impact of UK’s exit from the EU on its Tourism sector. Mere 16% of the participant firms said that they attempted to hire overseas workers through the UK Tier 2 visas as the process is arduous.
A whopping 85% of the participant firms said that the UK Tier 2 visas process was complex to unachievable. 80% of the firms also added that the tourism sector would face a drastic decrease in productivity if these visas were expanded to cover the EU nationals.
UK Tier 2 visas issues could force 20% of the tourism firms to quit the UK after Brexit as quoted by the Workpermit.
CEO of the European Tourism Association Tom Jenkins went on record to say that 20% of Tourism firms in the UK are looking to relocate from the nation if their Brexit fears come true. Uncertainty is the biggest issue at the moment, added Jenkins. Just a part of the European Tourism Association members are positive but a large percentage of them are very gloomy and even greater percentages are extremely worried, said the CEO.
