UAE Work Visa will require mandatory Good Conduct certificate from 4 February 2018. This was revealed by a high-level panel in the UAE. The committee approved the decision to implement this requirement for UAE Work Visa from 4 February onwards.
The Good Conduct certificate must be obtained from the nation of origin of the applicant. It can also be obtained from the nation wherein the applicant has been residing for last 5 years. This should be then endorsed by the mission of the state. It must also be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in UAE.
The behavior certificate for UAE Work Visa will only be applicable to the applicant and not the dependents. Overseas nationals arriving in UAE for visit or through Tourist Visa will also not require this certificate.
The panel that took this decision consisted of members from diverse agencies of the government. This was revealed by the action committee. It was under the initiatives of the government to build a sustainable and safer society, as quoted by the Khaleej Times. This was also aimed at achieving a happy, peaceful and secure society.
The committee also said in a statement that it is the objective of the UAE government to make the nations one amongst the safest in the world. The documents required for the work permit of UAE are:
