5-year UAE visa that has the scope of 10-year residency visa will lure Overseas Students to the nation. This is the view of Dr. Warren Fox the Chief of Knowledge and Human Development Authority – KHDA. He added there will be a crucial expansion of overseas students arriving at the nation for higher studies.
Overseas students in UAE will now be offered a 5-year UAE visa. Those who perform extraordinarily will be eligible for a 10-year Residency Visa. These new rules for UAE visas are aimed at assisting overseas students to launch their career after graduation, as quoted by the Khaleej Times.
Specialists such as Engineers and Doctors will qualify for the 10-year visa. It will be extended to their family members as well.
Dr. Warren Fox said that UAE is a renowned destination for overseas students. The long-term visas will further accentuate its position as the international hub for higher education, he added. Significant growth in the numbers of overseas students arriving at the UAE for higher studies is anticipated owing to these new visa rules. It will not just enable the growth of the nation’s economy but will also expand opportunities for students and institutions of higher education.
