Donald Trump

Responding to a series of question on illegal immigration, the US President Donald Trump has said that he wants people to enter the country based on merit. According to him, this initiative can help technology professionals from countries like India.

He would like people who can help their economy to come in. Great companies like Foxconn is moving to Wisconsin with a massive plant. Various car companies are coming in. This is something which hasn't happened in the last 35 years, as quoted by NDTV.

He further crossed the chain migration policy, saying he’s made sure that the country has a very strong policy against this phenomenon. He also pressed the point that a vast majority of US agrees with him on this as they don’t want criminals to inhabit the country. Hence the country is being very tough at the borders.

Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House on Saturday that people should come into the country legally, not illegally.

He was quite positive on the fact that the US has been doing well ever since he’s become the President. According to him, they are the hottest country in the world by far. That’s compelling a lot of people to try to come in. He offered a word of praise for the border security, ICE, and their law enforcement for doing an incredible job to prevent this.
