Trump and Democratic lawmakers agree for quick DACA immigration bill

President Trump and Democratic lawmakers have agreed to a quick DACA immigration bill to protect the immigrants covered under DACA amnesty. These are the illegal immigrants who arrived in the US as kids. However, they are yet to agree on the features of the DACA immigration bill. This development was revealed by Chuck Schumer the Senate Democratic leader and Nancy Pelosi Democratic leader in House of Representatives after their dinner at the White House with Trump. The leaders of the Democratic Party said that the meeting focused on DACA immigration bill, as quoted by the Indian Express. The statement of both the Democratic leaders announced that Trump has agreed with them for a quick DACA immigration bill to protect the immigrants under DACA. The leaders also said that a package for border security excluding the Mexican wall acceptable to both the parties was also agreed upon. Leaders of the Democratic Party have insisted all along that they will block any bill in the US Congress for funding the border wall. Many Republicans in the Congress have also opposed the funding for the wall. White House officials have also indicated that DACA immigration bill could progress even without the funding for the wall. But Sarah Sander the White House Spokeswoman was doubtful that any agreement has been reached excluding the issue of funding for the wall. All the way in his presidential campaign and even after assuming the office of President Trump has demanded to build a wall along the borders with Mexico. He has insisted that this is required to curb drugs and illegal immigrants. Funds from US Congress are being demanded after Mexican government declined to fund the wall.
