The Indian Consulate in Dubai tweeted on Monday that Indians heading to the UAE must purchase travel insurance.
The Consulate has often repeated the message to travellers from India. There have been numerous cases in the past where travellers have had to seek medical attention or repatriation.
The Indian Consulate helps Indian travellers in such times of distress. However, the Consulate says that such expenses do not come under their scope.
Why should you buy travel insurance?
