4.3 million Tourist Visas were offered by Abu Dhabi in November 2017 which was an increase of 16% when compared with the same period in 2016. The figures have been revealed by the Department of Tourism and Culture in Abu Dhabi.
4.3 million Visitors have arrived through Tourist Visas in Abu Dhabi in the first 11 months of 2017. The Emirate has recorded a 9% yearly growth. It is well on the way to reach its target of 4.9 million visitor arrivals by the conclusion of December.
Department of Tourism and Culture Director General HE Saif Saeed Ghobash has welcomed the latest increase in the arrivals of visitors to Abu Dhabi. He said that Q4 has traditionally been a strong period for Abu Dhabi in terms of visitor arrivals. There has been a specific rise in arrivals from Europe, as quoted by the Travelbizmonitor.
The performance of the tourism sector in November has been really encouraging said Ghobash. The 16% increase in guests in hotels across all 3 regions adds up to 4.3 million Tourist Visas, added the Director-General.
