Canada Business Schools

Increased numbers of Indian students are enrolling now at Canada Business Schools and their share in MBA enrollments in Canada has risen to 8% in 2016. In 2009, just 3% of Indian students favored Canada for their MBA studies. When it comes to non-MBA courses of management, the share of Indian students at Canada Business Schools has increased to 9% from 4% in 2009.

Even the elite colleges and Universities in Canada are 30 to 40% cheaper when compared with the US. This is emerging as its top attraction, apart from Trump’s immigration policies, as quoted by the Times of India.

A student at McMaster University at Toronto who is pursuing Master’s degree Niharika Mittal said that more numbers of Indian students are opting for Canada. The reason is that they value the opportunity to be able to work for 2 to 3 years after completing their Master’s degree. Canada regards overseas students as value addition to its aging workforce, unlike the US and the UK, said Niharika.

Top 5 Reasons why Indian students are opting for Canada Business Schools are:

  • Multiple mutual programs that offer hands-on education along with approach of the theory
  • Overseas students who have passed out from Canadian institutions are eligible to apply for Canada PR without exiting the nation
  • The number of graduates from Canadian institutions who get a job in their field of study within 6 months exceeds 90%
  • The cost of education at the top universities in Canada is almost 50% lesser when compared with the renowned programs at private universities in its neighbor the US
  • Overseas Students can work even while they are Studying in Canada

International students are permitted to work on-campus for their institution if its grants degrees and is funded publicly. Separate Work Permit is not required. Full-time students also may be eligible to work for any employer off-campus.
