Thailand Offers Visa Services at VFS Global in Kolkata

The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kolkata, has outsourced visa application services to VFS Global. The new service will allow people of Kolkata to apply for a visa at 5 special counters with VFS Global. VFS Global is an India-based global outsourcing company. It is a specialist in diplomatic missions and governments worldwide and manages various embassy and consulate administrative works as a middleman between visa applicant and the concerned embassy. The Hindu BusinessLine quoted Pattira Chiempricha of The Royal Thai Consulate-General, from a press release saying, “The Consulate strives to facilitate this thriving relationship. And today marks a great milestone in achieving this goal.” This move by the Royal Thai Consulate-General is to deal with rising visa applications from the region. Individuals can now easily file a visa application at any of the five counters and get their visa processed quickly. It comes as a relief to the frequent travellers who travel to Thailand for work and for leisure.
