From July 2021, offshore, onshore applicants can apply for RoI (Registration of Interest) for state nominations in South Australia .
Offshore applicants: Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa Subclass 491 Onshore applicants: Visa Subclass 491 and the Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190
The skilled migrants in South Australia (currently residing), who meet the set of rules laid by the state government and the Department of Home Affairs are eligible to apply for state nominations in the following categories:
International Graduate of South Australia Talent and Innovators Program Currently working in South Australia (including long-term residents in SA) For offshore applicants

RoI signifying skills of specific trades and health-related professions Certificate for proficiency in English two to eight years of work experience (based on priority) related to the occupation superior knowledge of English List of occupations for offshore applicants
Maintenance planner Fitter (general) Fitter and turner Metal machinist Panel beater Bricklayer Stonemason Carpet and joiner Floor finisher Painting trade worker Glazier, wall, and floor tiler Roof tiler For onshore applicants
RoI (applying for the Talent and Innovators program) eligibility is decided based on the Work experience in the state Exemptions:
