Sharjah to Host Pan-India Road Shows Across Indian Cities

In an attempt to woo Indian tourists, Sharjah is launching pan-India road show for period between September 15 and September 22. The shows are organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority in cooperation with Air Arabia airline and Sharjah's hotel and tourism industry, and will be held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, The director general of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said that India was one of the most crucial and promising tourism markets for Sharjah. He further added that, "Sharjah witnessed over 1,21,000 Indian tourists last year which is growth of over 40% compared to the previous year, and that Sharjah is open to offering more to Indian students, professionals, and Investors."
