380 fresh Canada PR invites offered by the Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario makes it the second draw for the week. These applicants have the chance to secure a Canada PR through provincial nomination from Ontario.
Ontario offers NOIs through the Human Capital Priorities Stream. Through this, it is able to identify eligible candidates for immigration in the federal Express entry pool. Candidates who are successful in receiving a nomination from the province will incur 600 extra Comprehensive Ranking System points. This implies an assured Canada PR invite in the subsequent Express entry draw, as quoted by the CIC News.
OINP said that on the 26 January round, NOIs were offered to candidates who had CRS scores between 444 and 433. They had also submitted their profiles in the Express entry pool between 1 and 25 January 2018.
The least Comprehensive Ranking System score for the latest round was 433. It was 7 points lower than the threshold CRS score for the NOI round held on 23 January. 340 NOIs were offered in this previous round. Eligibility criterions for Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario include having minimum 400 CRS score.
The fresh draw held by Ontario was preceded by Express entry round on January 24 that offered fresh Canada PR invites to 2, 750 candidates. In 2017, Human Capital Priorities Stream was one amongst the most active categories of OINP. It had opened several times in the entire year.
Attorney David Cohen said that it is exciting to witness a bustling week in the Ontario province. More than 700 candidates received NOIs in these two rounds. The least CRS score decreased by 7 points added Cohen.
