Saskatchewan’s renowned express entry category reopens

Saskatchewan Saskatchewan province of Canada has commenced accepting applications for its Global Skilled Worker Express Entry sub-scheme for 500 fresh applicants. It forms a part of the Immigration Nominee program of Saskatchewan. This news of reopening of the category on February 14 is most likely to be welcomed by several qualified candidates who are anticipating for reopening of this category that mostly re-commenced on January 4. Eligible candidates in the federal express entry pool can apply through this sub-category for a nomination certificate from the Saskatchewan province. This sub-category’s provincial nomination certificate awards the candidates 600 additional points under the comprehensive ranking system. It ensures that the applicant is offered the invitation to apply at the subsequent draw held in the pool. The applicants who intends to qualify for this provincial nomination program must satisfy diverse eligibility criterions that includes possessing proof of legal status in case if residing in Canada, having profile number in Express entry and Validation code for job seeker and test results for English language proficiency on par with language level appropriate for their express entry profile. The qualifying criterions also mandate that the applicants must possess a minimum of post-secondary education for one year or training that is on par with the education system in Canada. This must also have awarded a diploma, degree, or certificate equal to a trade certificate, quotes CIC News. The applicants of the Saskatchewan provincial nomination are also required to possess 12 months experience in a skilled profession in the last ten years, two years skilled work experience in the last five years or one-year Canadian work experience in the past three years. Applicants must also have a skilled occupation work experience in the matrix of National Occupational Classification at level A or B or 0 that is needed in Saskatchewan. They are also required to have evidence of being qualified as per the licensure in Saskatchewan in case if it is so required to be certified. In case if their work experience is a skilled job they must have a letter of invitation in their skilled trade from Apprenticeship & Trade Certification Commission in Saskatchewan. They must have the financial ability and have a score of at least 60 points in SINP point assessment grid out of 100 points.
