Saskatchewan is the only province in Canada that has all artificial boundaries, that is, none of the boundaries of Saskatchewan is formed by any natural features.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, commonly referred to as simply SINP, provides non-Canadians with the perfect pathway to Canada immigration.
In addition to inviting immigrants that wish to settle in Saskatchewan, under the SINP Saskatchewan also nominates successful applicants so that they gain Canadian PR.
All applicants that wish to enter Canada through the SINP route are also expected to apply for residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
When you get a SINP nomination, an additional 600 points are included in your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, thereby making it almost a guarantee that you will be receiving an invitation in any subsequent draws to be held from the Express Entry pool.
What are the different SINP categories that you can apply under?
Category | Description |
International Skilled Worker Category | For those skilled workers abroad who want to work and live in Saskatchewan. |
Saskatchewan Experience Category | For those foreign nationals who are currently living and working in Saskatchewan. |
Entrepreneur Category | For entrepreneurs who plan to start a business in Saskatchewan. |
Farm Category | For experienced farmers who plan to buy and operate a farm in Saskatchewan. |
Who all were invited in latest December 20 SINP draw?
Each year, the SINP sets a limit on the maximum number of applicants in each category. Moreover, selection from the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) is also limited by occupation so that –
While selections are usually made on a monthly basis, the size and the frequency of the EOI selection will be as per the requirements of the SINP application inventory.
Invitations are sent keeping in view occupations that are in demand in Saskatchewan. Express Entry candidates are also invited for applying for being provincially nominated by Saskatchewan for Canadian permanent residency.
In the latest December 20 SINP draw, a total of 595 were invited.
