Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Draw held on 31 October is the largest draw held so far in the last two years. Saskatchewan Entrepreneur stream is an important category of Immigrant Nominee Program Saskatchewan SINP. 265 overseas entrepreneurs were offered the invitation to apply on the 31 October Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Draw. Candidates with more than or equal to 80 points in the exclusive Expression of interest pool were invited to apply. This threshold of points is the lowest in the history of Saskatchewan Entrepreneur stream. The Saskatchewan government refers to this stream as Immigrant Nominee Program Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Program. Through this program, successful applicants can start a business in the province. They can also partner or obtain a business. Entrepreneurs must be actively engaged in the business while residing in the province. If applicable, they can also be accompanied by the family members, as quoted by the Canadavisa. Successful applicants first receive the work permit. This authorizes them to work in Saskatchewan. After fulfilling the terms of a Business Performance they can apply for the Canada PR. The eligibility criterions for Saskatchewan Entrepreneur stream includes net worth assets of 500, 000 $CAD. $200,000 equity investment will also be required. If the investment is made within the cities of Regina or Saskatoon, this fund will be increased to $300,000. Additional requirements for the business are also specified. It must have the potential of incurring economic profits to Saskatchewan. The assessment for this will be done by the immigration officer of SINP. Eligible applicants are assigned a score out of 160 points. For this, they must first enter the Entrepreneur pool of SINP candidates. Other factors include entrepreneurial experience, education, age, and language ability.
