Of late IRCC is conducting Express entry draws consistently every fortnightly, usually on Wednesdays. Effective from June 6, 2017, it has also made effective several improvements to CRS points in the Canada Express entry. Extra points will now be incurred to overseas immigrant applicants with proficiency in French language and having siblings in Canada.
While announcing these improvements to the Canada Express Entry program, IRCC had also said that CRS scores of all applicants’ profiles will be updated routinely prior to holding the next draw and this would take at least 14 days.
Canada Express Entry applicants who will benefit from the additional points owing to the improvements of June 6 can be confident that they will incur these points for their scores of the next draw. Additionally, IRCC also announced that no applicants in the Canada Express entry pool will witness a decrease in their points owing to June 6 changes, as quoted by the CIC News. Last time when CRS was modified on November 19, 2016, this had actually occurred.
It is strongly advised that applicants who have a sibling in Canada or with proficiency in French language and have not updated these details must do so now immediately so that they can increase their CRS scores.
The next Canada Express entry draw will be held by IRCC very soon once these changes are implemented for the profiles in the pool. Overseas immigrants who intend to immigrate to Canada must waste no time and create a Canada Express entry profile at the earliest so that they can receive an ITA for the Canada PR.
