Filing application for Thailand PR is a perplexing process. Only a few thousand people are offered PR annually by Thailand.
The Immigration Department in Thailand has a quota for all immigrants applying for Residence Visas. Just 100 individuals per nationality can apply and sometimes application can be submitted in only 3 months of the year. PR is mandatory for those who intend to apply for Citizenship of Thailand, as quoted by the Khaleej Times.
Applicants of Thailand PR must have held a non-immigrant Visa constantly for minimum 3 years.
