• The applicant should have a confirmed offer of employment
• Salary offered should be in line with the market trends

The applicant also needs to submit the below documents for a Work Visa:

From the employer

• The offer letter to the employee containing details of the post offered, salary, perks and other benefits, and the employment duration
• A copy of the Business Registration Certificate
• A copy of proof of financial standing, for example, a financial audit report
• Details of the company background
• A detailed business plan

From the employee

• Passport
• Copy of educational documents and work experience documents
• Photographs, as per specification

What is the procedure for the Work Visa of Hong Kong?

All the required documents have to be submitted to the Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department.

 

Foreign workers who are living in Mainland China at the time of application need to submit them to the Immigration Division of the HK Govt. in Beijing.

 

The processing time for a Work Visa is usually 2 to 3 months, as per China Briefing.

 

Successful applicants are issued with a permit label. They need to affix it to their passports. With it, they can legally enter and resume work in Hong Kong.
