The Quebec immigrant Investor program will soon halt accepting applications for 2017

The process of accepting applications for the year 2017 will soon be halted by the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program for non-Francophone entrepreneurs. The process for accepting applications for this year was commenced on May 30, 2016, and will close on February 28, 2017.

However, there are exceptions for immigrant applicants who intend to dynamically manage a business in Quebec under the Entrepreneurial Stream as well as for investors who possess French knowledge at higher intermediate level. These categories of applicants can submit their applications by March 31, 2017, as quoted by the Mondaq.

The Federal Immigrant Investor initiative of Canada was closed recently and this leaves Quebec immigrant Investor program as the only of its kind investor visa of Canada that is available to the overseas investors.
