Qatar Interior Ministry and Singapore based firm Biomet have signed a new agreement in this regard. This permits completing all Qatar PR procedures with respect to immigrant workers to be completed in their native nations. After completion of the required formalities, it will not be needed to repeat them in Qatar, as quoted by the Zentora.
The nations that will be benefited by this project are the Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka. The immigrants of these 8 nations form the majority of the workforce in Qatar. The new process for PR will commence within 4 months of the launch of the center in Sri Lanka. New centers will also be launched in the rest 7 nations to implement this landmark decision.
Overseas nationals can complete several requirements for visa processing in their home nation itself. This includes fingerprints, biometric data record, health check-up results, as well as the signing of contracts for employment.
