It will be applicable to the travelers of all these nationalities who possess valid visa or residence permits effective from 27 September 2017.
The latest system will permit qualified visitors to obtain ETA by completing a simple application online prior to their travel, as quoted b the Gulf Times. Qatar Tourism Authority’s Chief Tourism Development Officer Hassan al-Ibrahim said that the latest addition to the visa policy demonstrates Qatar’s commitment to being a forthcoming nation.
It also is proof of being in line with the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism of United Nations World Tourism Organization for promoting tourism rights of all people. He was speaking at the General Assembly session of the United Nations World Tourism Organization at China’s Chengdu. In order to increase openness and acceptance between cultures freedom of movement and openness must be adopted, added Hassan al-Ibrahim.
