The Parliament of Scotland will vote on Tuesday for independence from the UK

The debate in the Parliament of Scotland for seeking a referendum for independence from the UK will resume on Tuesday. The vote for seeking the support of the Parliament for backing the referendum for independence from the UK was delayed as a mark of respect after the attack on the UK parliament. Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has demanded a referendum on independence from the UK following refusal to give a separate deal for Scotland on the relations with the EU after Brexit. The Parliament of Scotland had earlier issued a statement and expressed concern regarding lapses in security.
