Ontario has announced that it has received approval for 6600 Canada PR nominations in 2018 which is an addition of 600 nominations over 2017. It has also declared that its renowned Human Capital Priorities Express Entry Stream has been opened along with 7 other streams.
The Immigrant Nominee Program Ontario has been approved 6600 Canada PR nominations in 2018. This is an increase of 600 extra nominations from the federal government of Canada in comparison with 2017.
Immigrant Nominee Program Ontario said that it will begin offering interest notifications or NOIs. These will be for candidates who are eligible for renowned Human Capital Priorities Express Entry Stream. This permits Ontario to identify candidates in federal Express entry pool in the National worker skilled class and Canada experience class. They must possess minimum 400 CRS points and satisfy other criterions as well.
Provincial nomination incurs 600 extra points to an Express entry candidate for their CRS score. This means receiving an ITA for Canada PR in the subsequent Express entry draw.
Human Capital Priorities Express Entry Stream had offered NOIs on several occasions in 2017. This includes a special opening in 2017 July that waived the need to possess minimum 400 CRS points by Express entry candidates. These had work experience in diverse occupations related to IT, as quoted by the CIC News.
Candidates who received NOI via HCP Stream have 45 days for online submission of an application for nomination from the province.
