Ontario Government has offered fresh Notifications of Interest – NOIs to candidates in the Express Entry pool. This is through the streams Skilled Trades and Skilled Worker French-Speaking. The draws were held for the second time in these 2 streams in a gap of 7 days.
34 NOIs have been offered through the Skilled Worker French-Speaking stream. 29 NOIs were offered through the stream Skilled Trades. The draw in FSSW held on 19 April targeted candidates in the Express Entry pool who had submitted their profiles between 1 January and 19 April 2018. The draw in ST held on 18 April targeted candidates in the Express Entry pool who had submitted their profiles between 1 January and 18 April 2018.
So far in 2018, Ontario has offered 366 NOIs through the Skilled Worker French-Speaking stream. It has also offered 488 NOIs through the stream Skilled Trades. All these candidates have been selected from the Express entry pool, as quoted by the CIC News.
The Stream Human Capital Priorities of Ontario is another immigration stream that is aligned with the Express entry stream. It has been the most active in 2018 so far and has offered 2, 587 NOIs till now.
HCP stream usually targets candidates in the Express entry pool with a specific score of 400 or more in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System. But the ST or FSSW streams do not have any minimum CRS score requirement.
The stream FSSW was launched in 2015. It targets Express entry candidates that are French-speaking. These must be eligible for either the Canadian Experience Class or the Federal Skilled Worker Class. They must also have adequate proficiency in the English language – CLB 6 or more.
