Notice of attention to the Express entry pool candidates will be issued by Ontario province on weekly basis. The Notice of attention will be offered under the Human Capital Priorities stream in Ontario and Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.
The Human Capital Priorities Stream is allied with the national Express Entry Scheme of Canada. Applicants who are successful in this stream are offered 600 extra points under the complete ranking scheme which places them in the lead to receive an Invitation to apply in Canada for a permanent residency when the subsequent draw is held.
Human Capital Priorities stream of Ontario operates on passive mode and this makes it outlier when compared to the rest of the Provincial Nominee Programs that are aligned with the Express entry scheme. This implies that neither it is based on expression of interest nor on the basis of first served for first comers. Eligible candidates are searched by OINP depending on their ability to settle successfully in the province and then issuing the NOI to them. This is on par with the invitation to apply for the provincial nomination certificate of the program, quotes CIC News.
After the applicants receive the NOI, they have a time period of six months to register with the online application system of Ontario and furnish their applications. The candidates have two weeks time to submit the application after they have registered. They have to pay a fee of 1,500 Canadian dollars to the government.
The government of Ontario has posted an update on its website that encourages potentially qualified candidates to create a new profile in the Express entry pool.
