Nigeria has become the first African nation to launch Biometric visas. These have been planned for effective obstruction of undesired individuals into the nation. The launching of Biometric visas was announced by Mr. Abubakar Magaji the Ministry of Interior’s Permanent Secretary.  It was at the Award Night and End-of-Year Dinner for 2017 of the Immigration Services of Nigeria at Abuja.
