NB Canada reopens EE stream for 14 priority occupations

NB Canada – the New Brunswick province has provisionally reopened its Express Entry Stream Labor Market for accepting Expressions of Interest EOIs. It is for skilled workers who possess experience in 14 priority occupations. This is inclusive of 7 positions related to Tech, as quoted by the CIC News.

Provincial Nominee Program New Brunswick has reported in an update revealed on 1 May that it is opening the Express Entry Stream Labor Market. This is for those who possess experience in one of the below 14 priority occupations:

• Consultants and Information systems analysts
• Computer network technician
• User support technicians
• Designers and Software engineers
• Data administrators and Database analysts
• Interactive media developers and Computer programmers
• Developers and Web designers
• Cooks -
• Food service and Restaurant managers
• Book keepers and Accounting technicians
• Administrative assistants
• Administrative officers
• Kindergarten and Elementary school teachers *
• Secondary school teachers *

* This is for teachers of French language

NB Canada EE Labour Market Stream permits Provincial Nominee Program New Brunswick to utilize the immigration selection system of Express entry for nominating candidates. These must cater to the specific demographic and labor market needs of NB Canada.

Candidates in the Express entry pool who receive a nomination from the province will obtain 600 extra CRS points. This will ensure an ITA for Canada PR in the subsequent Express entry draw.

The Expressions of Interest submitted by only those candidates for this category will be considered by Provincial Nominee Program New Brunswick who caters to the specific criterions.
