The Express Entry draw held on March 26th has offered extra 3000 Canada PR ITAs to candidates in the pool. The Government of Canada has formally invited these candidates to immigrate to Canada and apply for a PR. The CRS threshold score for this draw was 446. This is 10 points lesser when compared with the last draw held on March 24th.
March 26th draw is the first instance in this year that 2 consecutive Express entry draws have been held with just a gap of 12 days. This is also a rare draw held on a Monday morning, as quoted by the CIC News. Off late, the Express entry draws are being held on Wednesdays.
The 3000 Canada PR ITAs offered in the latest draw has remained a constant figure from the last 3 draws. All these 3 draws also had offered the same number of ITAs to aspiring candidates in the Express entry pool.
The rare draw held on a Monday morning by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada within 12 days of the previous draw may offer an indication regarding future draws of IRCC. In April 2017, the threshold CRS score had decreased as lower as 415.
David Cohen a Senior Attorney said that the March 26th draw was held within 12 days of the previous draw. The CRS threshold score also decreased by 10 points and this is an incredible way to conclude March, he added.
April and May 2017 were indeed exciting times for the Canada Express Entry system said, Cohen. Multiple draws were held in this 2 months period that witnessed the CRS score reaching a record low to 413, explained the Attorney. Spring 2018 looks really promising as well for the Express entry and the aspiring immigrants to Canada, added Cohen.
