Manitoba offers 592 LAAs to immigrants for Canada PR Visa via PN

592 Letters of Advice to Apply for Canada PR Visa through a Provincial Nomination have been offered by the Manitoba province in its EOI pool. This includes 114 applicants in Federal Express Entry pool.

The LAAs were offered to candidates in 2 streams - Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba. The candidates in the Express Entry pool received the LAAs through the Manitoba Express Entry Pathway.

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. This manages the applications for 3 economic immigration streams for the federal government.  These are the Canada Experience Class, Skilled Trades Class Federal, and Skilled Worker Class Federal, as quoted by the CIC News.

600 extra points are obtained by Express Entry candidates who are successful in their application for a provincial nomination. These points are added to their CRS scores ensuring ITA for a Canada PR Visa in the subsequent Express Entry Draw.

Express Entry candidates who had a score of 562 or plus under EOI system of Manitoba received the LAAs for Canada PR Visa through a Provincial Nomination. The draw was held on 21 June 2018.

Registration of EOI - Expression of Interest with PNP Manitoba is the first step for applicants to be considered under the province’s Express Entry pathway. They must also possess a valid profile in the Express Entry pool.

Aspiring candidates in the Express Entry pool must also have minimum 6 months work experience. This must be any one of the In-demand occupations of Manitoba. They are also required to fulfill other qualifying criterions. The confirmed support of a relative or close friend residing in Manitoba for a minimum of 1 year is also required by the applicants.
