Latest EOI draw: Manitoba invites 100's of immigration aspirants

Manitoba has invited 626 immigration aspirants in the latest Expression of Interest draw that includes 151 applicants from the Canada Express Entry pool. Provincial Nominee Program Manitoba specified the requirements for the applicants that received the invite via sub-stream Skilled Workers Overseas. These had to have validation code as a job seeker. They also had to possess minimum 6 months of relevant experience in a job listed in In-Demand Occupations of MPNP.

The score of the lowest ranked candidate in the Express entry pool that received the invite under EOI system of Manitoba had a score of 562. Immigration aspirants who have received the invite can now submit their application for nomination from Manitoba. Successful candidates will obtain 600 extra CRS - Comprehensive Ranking System points that will ensure an ITA for Canada PR, as quoted by the CIC News.

Letters of Advice to apply – LAAs were also offered to 267 candidates in the stream Manitoba Skilled Workers. The lowest ranked candidate in this category to receive an invite had a score of 500 in the Expression of Interest ranking.

Apart from these, 109 Letters of Advice to apply were offered to candidates in the stream Overseas Skilled Worker. The lowest ranking candidate in this category had a score of 602 in the Expression of Interest ranking.

The requirements for the candidates are as follows:

• Work experience, or past education, or a close relative residing in Manitoba
• Announced a regional destination
• Minimum 6 months of latest experience in a job on the In-Demand Occupations list of Manitoba
• Minimum proficiency in language of CLB 5 except if experience is in a regulated job (CLB 7) or a compulsory trade (CLB6).
