395 skilled workers have been invited to apply for Canada PR status by the Manitoba province in the draw held on October 31. These applicants can now apply for migrating to the province through Provincial Nominee Program Manitoba. They can also be accompanied by their members of the family.
MPNP is an immigration program of Canada. It authorizes the Manitoba province to accept fresh immigrants. These applicants who are offered ITA to apply for Canada PR status must be able to settle in the province. The eligibility criterion set by the province must be satisfied by the applicants.
Manitoba operates a system of EOI or Expression of Interest for skilled workers. Through this, the aspiring immigrants furnish an EOI. After this is done, they are offered point’s based on their individual factors, as quoted by the Canadavisa.
The candidates who are ranked the highest are offered a Letter of advice to apply. Upon successful nomination, a candidate can apply for the Canada PR status. This must be applied to the federal government.
351 candidates were offered the invitation in the October 31 draw. These were under the criterions for Manitoba sub-category for the Skilled Workers. 577 were the score of the lowest ranked candidate. The rest of the 44 invites were offered to the sub-category Skilled Workers Overseas. These were directly invited by the MPNP via Strategic Initiative for Recruitment. Individual candidates in this category had points more than or equal to 730.
MPNP also conducts overseas immigration and employment fairs. These involve the overseas workers being interviewed by the representatives of MPNP. These candidates have to then make a formal EOI to the MPNP to receive the invitation to apply.
