Thousands of Immigrants travel to the UAE every year. Some of them intend to visit the country as tourists. However, most of them migrate to the UAE for work or studies. Hence, the number of UAE Visa applications is always on the rise.

The UAE Visa process is quite simple. The Immigrants need to fill in an application form and submit it. Along with that, they must present the following documents -

  • Invitation letter from a host in the UAE
  • Copies of passport
  • Return tickets in case of Tourist Visa
  • Educational documents
  • Financial proof

The process is straightforward. However, at times, the UAE Visa is rejected. Let’s check out the reasons behind that.

  • Handwritten passports are not accepted by the UAE Visa department. They will reject the application right away.
  • If Immigrants have any criminal record in the UAE, their Visa Application will be rejected
  • Sometimes Immigrants hold a Resident Visa and leave the country without canceling it. It is mandatory to clear the previous Visa before applying for a new one.
  • If Immigrants had applied for an Employment Visa but never entered the country, they have to get it cleared at first
  • Many a time, Immigrants tend to get the Tourist Visa but don’t visit the country. They have to get the PRO of the travel agency to visit the Immigration Department. Only after the previous Visa is cleared, they can apply for a new UAE Visa.
  • Any typo errors in the Visa Application such as name, passport number, etc would result in rejection
  • Immigrants nowadays prefer to submit the Visa Application online. In that case, they have to upload the scanned copies of all the documents. However, if any of the copies are blurred or unclear, the application will be rejected.
