Israel launches Mlt. Entry Visa for Indians

With immediate effect fresh Multiple Entry Visa for Business persons in India has been launched by Israel. It is a long-term visa that will be offered by the Interior Ministry of Israel. Eligible business persons in India will be offered the B2 Visitor Visa. It has a validity of 5 years and permits 3-months-stay at a time.

Usually, the B2 Visitor Visas for Indians have a validity of single entry. Stay for 1 month only is authorized by these visas. The firm that is sponsoring must be active. It must also be registered in the Indian Firms Registry for minimum 6 months before the application for B2 Visa is filed, as quoted by the Times of India.

The regulation for the new Multiple Entry Visa for Business persons in India also defines the permitted business activity. These include conducting market research, participating in conferences, selling or purchase of firms in Israel, investment in Israel, engaging in business negotiations and participating in business meetings.

The rules that have been outlined for the new Israel visa also states clearly that it does not permit productive work in Israel. This includes and not limited to provision for any services that includes manpower services, the supply of any products, engaging in general work and acting as the permanent representative of the firm in Israel.

The application must be submitted to a Consulate of Israel. The requirements will be at the consulate’s discretion that has received the application. Importance will be given to the past stays of the applicants in Israel. Overall reputation of the sponsoring firm, international presence and the type of business will also be considered. As of now, there are 3 Consulates of Israel in India that can process the applications.
