The National Interest Exceptions (NIE) allow travelers to bypass the COVID restrictions. Most of the countries with approved NIE’s, including India, were allowed to travel to the U.S., which would be valid for 12 months with multiple entries.
Currently, India, Brazil, China, South Africa, Iran, the Schengen Area, the U.K., and Ireland have approved NIE’s. Along with these, the countries that have approved NIEs with a visa application are also allowed to travel the U.S.
