Indian Embassy in Kuwait has relaxed the visa norms for Kuwaiti nationals visiting India for tourism, medical, business, and study reasons. The number of visitors from Kuwait to India has increased by a good 30% – from 7,600 last year to 10,000 till date this year.
“The Embassy has been issuing five-year and one-year business visa (multiple entry), one-year medical visa (multiple entry) and six-month tourist visas (multiple entry) for Kuwaiti nationals and expatriates resident in Kuwait so that they can visit India for business, tourism, medical treatment, as per their convenience,” the Embassy said.
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait will continue to accept application and issue visas to eligible applicants including for emergency and to diplomats and special passport holders.
