People from Kuwait who visit India frequently have been advised to make use of five-year or one-year multiple entry business visas to India, as per the Indian Embassy’s press release issued in Kuwait.
Since the visa procedures have been made efficient, visas being issued by the Embassy, including five-year and one-year business visas and six-month multiple entry tourist visas, have been increasing steadily. Availing them are both Kuwaiti citizens and foreign nationals residing in the Arab country located in the Persian Gulf. According to Arab Times, all the visas would be granted within 72 hours.
Since the Embassy has outsourced the visa work to M/s Cox & Kings Services (CKGS), Kuwait beginning from August 2014. Applicants have been asked to visit Passport and Visa Centres of CKGS at various locations in the country. The CKGS Kuwait’s website is http://www.kw.ckgs.in/ and the email id is email@example.com.
CKGS, Kuwait is said to have been providing visa services to citizens and expatriates of Kuwait via their three centres located in Fahaheel, Sharq (City), and Abbasiya (Jleeb Al-Showaikh) in addition to passport services to the Indian community. The above centre operates from 8 am to 12 pm noon and from 4 pm to 8 pm on normal working days.
On Fridays and Saturdays, which are holidays, the centre operates between 4 pm and 8 pm only. Attestation services must be availed at the Embassy’s premises. The Embassy will, however, accept visa applications only in emergency cases at its Visa Wing.
