India has opened 3 new VFS Global centers in Saudi Arabia to offer better passport, visa, and consular services to Indians there. The three centers will come up in Jeddah, Abha, and Tabuk. The centers started offering services from January 1, 2015.
The announcement regarding opening of VFS centers in Saudi was made by Indian consulate in December last month. The statement from Indian Consulate in Jeddah published in The Times of India reads, “We are pleased to announce the commencement of our new passport/visa/consular outsourcing services from Jan 1, 2015”
All three centers that have come up in Saudi Arabia are well equipped to provide passport, visas, and consular services such as attestation, etc. People living in the jurisdiction of the consulate can avail the service at these centers.

Regions in Consular Jurisdiction of Jeddah has a Indian Diaspora population of over a million. These regions include cities like Jeddah, Makkah, Al Baha, Abha/Khamis Mushyat, Jizan, Madinah, Najran, Tabuk, Taif and Yanbu.
Indian expatriates living in these areas can use these outsourcing offices to get all passport and visa related works done and also for attestation and other consular services.
